Spencer brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role as Vice President of Finance at Equity Services Inc. His career began in entry-level roles within operations and marketing and steadily progressed into leadership positions across product strategy & investment services and, most recently, finance. This journey has given him a well-rounded perspective on how financial organizations evolve and succeed in dynamic markets.
He spent more than a decade at Invesco, where he advanced through roles in the Operations, Marketing, and Product Strategy & Investment Services departments—including serving as a Senior Competitive Research Analyst. He then spent over 10 years at NEXT Financial Group/Atria Wealth Solutions, where he grew into leadership positions such as Business Intelligence Manager, VP Assistant CFO, and VP FP&A. This progression reflects his ability to build expertise in financial planning & analysis, scenario modeling, and organizational strategy while adapting to new challenges.
Spencer holds an MBA and MS in Finance from the University of Houston, as well as a BA in Economics from Texas State University. He is also a FINRA Series 27 Financial and Operations Principal, underscoring his commitment to regulatory and operational excellence.
